Help Me! My gps NEVER locks!

Exactly, pushmail is doing it for those with pushmail enabled. But it would be anything that makes your phone have a always on data connection. Trust me, if you reset your ppc and it boots up completely and it does not have a data connection then it gets a gps really fast. (under 12 seconds)

i see.. it sounds like a good fix, but i still don't think it applies to me.

i have nothing installed on my phone.. no weather program, no email setup, no messenger, etc etc. i flashed the rom, and then opened up gps viewer right away to see if i could get a gps lock, and never did. it's not an issue of taking too long either, i've left it on my balcony (40th floor, clear view of the sky) for half an hour (that's 30 minutes) and it hasn't locked.

i have tried omj's.. ghettofreeryder's.. rmlc's.. and nsfan's roms to no avail...

looks hopeless. i think i may have screwed it up when i let the alltel customizations run..

That's not exactly true. I'm running the leaked rom and still seeing the same issues.

Flash your phone to the latest official Bell ROM...

Then flash back to a custom ROM. All your GPS problems will be fixed. Also let the customizations run on the official Bell ROM.

I customized a New ROM based on the Official Bell Mobility ROM.. Give it a try.. .. as NFSFAN says.. flash the official radio for bell mobility.. then flash a custom rom..
