screen intermittently unresponsive / freezes

Can we make a common thread for all the new freezing issues popping up? There's also a thread here and here?

Two different issues. This thread is about intermittent unresponsiveness. The other threads are about hard freezes on the charger overnight.

I just had it happen to me again. I was playing a game when I see the busy icon come up. Then the Touch connected and downloaded an email. After that, my phone was totally unresponsive for 5 minutes. I couldn't even use the power button. But, it wasn't frozen and I still got the flashing leds. After five minutes it was back to normal. This is getting very frustrating but I would hate to have to deselect automatic email checking if that's it. I have mine set to check email every hour so I will make sure I am using the phone at the same time next hour to test this.

Mine does it and I do not check my email automatically. It has been doing it much more often lately. It mostly freezes when somebody is trying to call.

Do you have Location Setting on?
Settings - Personal - Phone - Services - Location Setting

I am suspecting it has something to do with auto data connections.
