Are TomTom 7 Maps Customizable?

With Garmin XT, you're able to only install whatever sections of the maps you need, is there a similar way to do this with TomTom?

Ok, old thread I know, but still, I have TomTom 7, and I am looking all over the website and I see no download for the touch pro in the Americas other than Brazil and Mexico, so is the US map actually available? I am happy to buy it, just need to know where to get it.
