Bluetooth Issue

Another issue...

Ever since my new rom my bluetoothing capabilities have vanished! everytime I try to send a file to or from my phone it says "Device does not have necessary capabilities"

Anyone have the same thing? Anyone know how to fix it? If someone has posted something in a thread before...please link me I had trouble finding previous answers! I'm a bad searcher

Re: Bluetooth Issue

Weird, I have been able to send just fine... What phone are you trying to send to? Also, what file are you sending?

Re: Bluetooth Issue

It's just basic bluetoothing of .cabs and photos to and from my macbook....

They are very small files and usually work without a problem but now it doesn't

Re: Bluetooth Issue

Do you have "receive all incoming beams" selected under settings/connections/beam? I had a similar problem and that solved it.

Re: Bluetooth Issue

Know, too, that WM is very buggy w/ BlueTooth devices in general. My 700WX will talk to my work PC, but won't stay connected to the built-in BT in my Toyota Prius.

Re: Bluetooth Issue

Is it a custom ROM? If it is, it may not have the bluetooth file transfer protocol. I made that mistake when making a ROM in the kitchen when I first started out.

Re: Bluetooth Issue

Can you even thether? I find that often times even though my BlackBook and touch say they are paired i just have to redo it on the Mac side of it and everything works again. Also i noticed that my touch has to be turned on and if you have S2U2 i think it has to be 'unlocked' if you will.
