Quote:
Did you export the root certificate or the server certificate? Better to take the root certificate. The procedure is the same, except you click on certification path and then click on the root, view certificate and then export it. -GT |

Re: the security certificate on the server is not valid...
this happened to me after a hard reset (it worked fine before the hard reset)
so i unchecked "requires encrypted connection" in exchange set up, let it sync, and rechecked it, and it worked for me |

Re: the security certificate on the server is not valid...
Brand,
Thanks for replying (what does 'third post?' mean, BTW) The link details downloading the certificate to my device....In doing my search B4 posting, this was the most common advice. This, like most people who have had this question online did not work for me...as I mentioned... GT, Asked my network admin, they don't have any idea what to do. They are "going to look into it further, and get back with me." I'm pretty sure I did the root, but I'm going to try again to be sure. brklyn, tried disabling SSL, got different error. Your account in M$ exchange does not have permission to connect to the server with the current connection settings code 0x85010004 I am pretty sure they will not let me connect without SSL. Thanks all for advice! Any more takers?!? |
