Videos on storage card don't show up in camera album - Page 2

What settings do you think would have an effect?

Storage - Storage Card
Capture Format - MPEG4

Basically I have not changed any of the default settings because the other day was the first time I tried to record and playback a video.

TCPMP plays back the video just fine, but the default WMP will not.

Interesting. Try changing the format to motion jpeg. I believe that the stock WMP has trouble with MPEG 4 for some stupid reason.

Wierd. I'll look into it and see what I can find. In my case the vids don't show up in the album, but from pictures and videos at least it plays them.

Thanks. If you find anything, let me know. I tried changing the storage to the device and still a no go. Very strange indeed.

Interesting. I looked in the registry and in HKLM/Software/HTC/Camera/Video there is an entry for Save Folder. I changed it from My Documents/My Videos to Storage Card/My Documents/My Videos. It still will not see the vids on the card, but it used to show the sample video on the device before the edit. I think we've found a bug. Gonna dig some more and post back.

As I said above I talked with tech support at HTC and they weren't aware of the issue but they are now and they were able to duplicate it as well. My solution in post #2 is working great with a couple exceptions. When I open the notes application it gives a "Could not create the voice link recording directory." and any notes in there are duplicated on the list (it's seeing it once in the My Documents directory and again on the SD card called My Documents) - the duplicate file thing happens in voice recorder too. Those are the only issues I've run into with my solution above.

Guys,I've got the same problem after installing M2D.May be there is a way to make TCPMP as a default player?.....Never mind,I got it.
