Re: Anyones battery actualy last a full day?

I tried letting it discharge all the way down then charging all the way up. Even tho the Li-Ion itself doesn't have a memory, the charge circuit must! I had my first 24-hours w/o charge in months. (Granted my usage was pretty light but this is a big difference).

Yup, somewhere in either my big post or VulcanGrey's follow-up, there's info on the smart meter being adaptive. Letting the battery drain until the device turns itself off will reset the circuit's memory, without causing the actual battery itself to die (and thus be damaged).

Re: Anyones battery actualy last a full day?

I did the drain it all the way till it's about to die as an experiment. I must be managing my battery pretty well, as I've noticed no difference.

Re: Anyones battery actualy last a full day?

ha, if my battery lasted 8 hours with no use, I'd be very surprised.

I leave my phone connected to a charger the whole time I'm at work, and most of the time I am in the car.

stock battery on vogue = completely worthless.

I can unplug it from my desk, get in my car with BT on, no calls or anything, and drive home. 30 minutes later, my battery is already at 85-90%. Loses about 10%/hour without BT off, and about 20% an hour with it on, (discoverable.)

While, my Sanyo M1 would last nearly two days with BT on the whole time... even had the same resolution screen.

Supposedly our touchscreens are really power-hungry...

I've noticed the mogul battery last a lot longer than the touch battery.

Well, You get what you pay for in this case I suppose.

I think my battery has gotten better since I installed Sprints Push email client... I had it checking every 15 minutes before... now it only checks when there is an email...

still horrific battery life though... the standby rating for the Touch is a friggin joke... they claim 300 hours?

300 hours of what? the phone turned off? sheesh
