That's odd no sprint nav. But yes com4 baud rate 4800. I would first hard reset, and if that don't work reflash.

Re: Still Can not get GPS to work.

you should hard reset after new rom install itll get all the programs and also sprint nav just my 2 cents

one last thing you have to register with sprintpcs the sprint nav will ask for your username and password to let you use it
i also think sprint nav is way better than google maps i love it and once you get it running you will too.

i tried google maps and is decent in my opinion the only thing is that with google you have to be outside in order to get a lock and even then at least for me it takes too long so just experiment.

Thinking it was a rom problem I upgraded to the newest version 3.03.651.4 and still nothing Please help if you can.

Thanks
Try to replace the VIRSER_GPS.dll file in windows with this one and then soft reset. It will ask you if you want to replace the existing one when you try to do it, and make sure you say yes. I was having the same problems at first and doing this fixed it. Go figure! Google, Live Search and GPSToday get locks now within 15 sec.

Here is the file, just unzip and place in the Windows/ directory. Hope this helps!
