Re: Actualy paying for hlp...
Well, I have been going through how everyones Touch looks, and they are awsome. So Ive tried downloading different things and they dont look the same, or download over ppls rom but then none of my sprint stuff works, like internet or the *2 thing. SO I downloaded that kitchen thing and thought id try to make my own ROM. Now, I also got some theme maker program too. But main question is, 1 on the themes, how do ppl make stuff transparent or are yall using a diff program, and 2 when making a ROM, or what not. How do ppl change the way the other stuff looks , not just the TOday thing. How do ppl change how the buttons on the phone looks, how do you change what the font looks like on the clock. and lastly, is there a way to change what the phone does when you slide your finger down it. FOr example, can I have it run a program or call someone when i slide my finger from top to bottom

Re: Actualy paying for hlp...
many of these things can be accomplished using htc home customizer. i dont have a link, im on my touch, but a search will find it. most of ur homescreen can b changed w this app.

Re: Actualy paying for hlp...
Alot of people use Wisbar advance and Wisbar Advance Desktop to achieve certain looks. The ROM I am using right now is DHarveys Windows Vista Rom...he incorporated Wisbar Advance to get some of the looks.
What you should do is figure out what you want your interface to look like, get some examples and link to them. Then we can help you out and show you how to get it to look the way you want. Once you do it a few times, it will become easier and easier. When I got my first Windows Mobile device, I was terrified to flash or modify it. Since then, I'm on my 3rd Windows Mobile device (Sprint Touch), and I flash it on average 1-2 times a week LOL Regarding the program mentioned above (HTC Home Customizer), many custom ROMS already incorporate that into it. So when you decide what ROM you want or how you want it to look, we can go from there.

I really kinda like that. But id want all black. Maybe I can describe what Im actualy looking for. Id like to have the following if possible: The tabs on tob, so weather panel can be in one screen and I can go back to home On the home screen, have the contacts like the screenshot how he has it to just push on them and it calls. I have tomtom, so Id be using that, as well the slide2 unlock thing, but with a sound when i slide change the button style on the phone part to match the rest of the phone sadly theres more, but now that IVe found someone that can help me, my minds going blank.I just want a dark, simple setup with blue clock numbers.lol |

Well that deifnitley looks like Wisbar Advance Desktop to me. Wisbar Advance and Wisbar Advance Desktop are both awesome programs, but you have to pay for them....I think they are 10 bucks each. So first decide if you are willing to pay for them. Slide2Unlock comes with a click sound I believe, so that shouldn't be an issue. The buttons you use can be customized with Wisbar. What you need to do is find a set of icons you like. It looks like that guy might be using some kind of iphone icons. But at any rate, search around for icon sets...theres tons out there and find one you like. It looks like a combination of HTC Home plus Wisbar and a few different icons and themes might give you what you want. Now, for yahoo messenger....theres a few good IM programs out there. Stay away from OZ instant messenger...IMHO its crap. If you want a free one, look at Palringo, or Jivetalk. If you don't mind paying, look at IM+ or Agile Messenger. There are others out there as well, but these are my favorites. I personally have been using Palringo latley...I like the push to talk feature in it. |
