Sprint Navigation app

Hey I got the new official rom which is great! Noticed in my programs section there is a app. sprint navigator. ever since i got the new rom it finds gps satellites really fast around 15-20 sec. most of the time like most here have posted..the navigation app is really nice and has voice notifications..just want to know if sprint charges for this? i have the simply everything plan..if they DONT charge then i would suggest all of you using the sprint nav. app...does everything i need it to do..

Re: Sprint Navigation app

If you are not on a simply everything plan then there is a charge for using the sprint navigation app. I believe it is $10 per month.

well its funny you ask...i did the little rev a update before the official rom came out...i had a VOGUIMG.nbh on my SD card and forgot about it..did a hard reset and it re imaged my phone...i went after wm61 configured itself, and noticed in the programs menu it showed sprint navigation application..not sure how it got there without me updating the rom or changing it but it was there.. THEN i went ahead and flashed over to the new official rom and it was still there also is on my today screen quick launch bar. I would suggest upgrading to the newest sprint rom..should be there...

Is the gps in the touch true satellite gps, or does it just triangulate?

Re: Sprint Navigation app

I currently have an unlimited data plan, I shouldn't be charged, right?

Re: Sprint Navigation app

No, you would be charged if you're not on the new sprint plans that include Navigation, the Simply Everything plans, or a data plan that has Navigation included.
