GPS Question

OK, I am newbie to the GPS thing. I got Live Search and Google Maps to work. I was wondering if there was any either "free" or "for purchase" that can be used on the TOUCH. I would like audio turn by turn directions. Thanks in advance!

Re: GPS Question

Although this thread will most likley be closed due to it being discussed on so many other threads, I will say that to get a GPS program that gives the audio directions for free is kinda hard.

Sprint Navigation/TeleNav (Free if you have one of the simply everything plans and some other data plans)

Iguidance I believe has voice directions.

I'm not sure about TomTom, but I think that does as well.

AmazeGPS has audible directions, but its Windows Mobile client is in alpha and doesnt seem to work well...at least for me. I haven't tried the Java version.

If you have Sprint and want a low cost, free program, try sprint navigation

Re: GPS Question

Try MapQuest mobile, they give you a trial and if you like it it's ~$5.00 a month. Best of bread in traffic! They use INRIX.

Re: GPS Question

I am not sure how much you want to pay, but I am using Igo8 and I am very impressed, the only problem is the loading time. I use it on my touch, and it does all I need!
