GPS works in the day but not at night

okay so instlalled that new bell 6.1 rom which is amazing because in the daytime i get amazing locks and i don't even have data on. At night i cant get a lock why is this?

im not quite sure your gps is time sensitive buddy. actually, im pretty sure its Not. try soft resetting.

It's not time sensitive, however there is alot of variation in the sat signals at night because of the ionospheric changes that occur when charged solar particles aren't hitting it. Many variables can affect the transmission. If you're really interested in a more indepth study, look up "antenna theory and signals propogation".

For most folks, this will help them sleep!

I noticed this last night too..... I could not get a lock. This morning it locked fine.

Strange...I was able to get a lock last night with no issues around 12:30AM. It did take a min or so, (which after upgrading to the new Radio is uncommon)..but it did get a lock in Live Search.
