Re: GPS works in the day but not at night

It's not time sensitive, however there is alot of variation in the sat signals at night because of the ionospheric changes that occur when charged solar particles aren't hitting it. Many variables can affect the transmission. If you're really interested in a more indepth study, look up "antenna theory and signals propogation".

For most folks, this will help them sleep!
