Re: Xv6900 No Calls after Hard Reset
Ahh I can almost feel like a hero with this. I've had this problem before. Once you do a hard reset, it takes the phone off their network. First do a *22899 and hit send. This will do the programing. Once you do this, try to make a call. It will not let you. it will tell you your phone needs authentication. In the message, it gives you a number to call. Call it and tell them it said you need to authenticate. They will either re-enable security or they may have to call you from a land line to enter a code on the phone. It's not something to worry too much about, it's just an inconvenience.

Re: Xv6900 No Calls after Hard Reset
Well too bad I just decided to recheck this now. Thanks for the quick reply I will try this tomorrow. This all started due to the massive amounts of missed calls, which many people have mentioned.

Re: Xv6900 No Calls after Hard Reset
Shocka, the landline number is 1 (88 438-7200.
If you call the #8899 they are going to ask you for a landline number to call you back at, so just start from a landline, or a different phone. You're going to have to enter a 23 digit AKey into the extended programming. It's a one-time key, so writing it down does you no good. |

Re: Xv6900 No Calls after Hard Reset
I am having this same problem. I did this, got an akey, and am still having the same problem. I gave up and reflashed the newest stock rom, and am still having this problem. What now?
