Battery life w/ New Official ROM?

I'm using the unofficial ROM currently and battery life on my phone's been terrible. Another thing I noticed is, randomly, my phone will get really warm. For those of you who have already upgraded to the new Official ROM, can you share your thoughts/experiences on battery life?

Mine hasn't changed, it was lousy before the upgrade and still is. Mine also has times where it heats up and has since the day I have gotten it. But I do like how quick the GPS initializes and finds the sats.

GPS seems tha same as every other ROM in the past couple months. Sometimes quick and sometimes takes a minute or two.

Battery seems good like on all stock ROMs. I'm extremely careful what I put on it and I have nothing that does anything automatic to the network. Everything is set manual.

So far it does seem more stable than the leaked ROM but it would take me a week of use to be sure. Weird things can happen over time.

my battery sucks after the update!! I cant use my phone at work so it just stay in my locker and usually its like at 100-90% when i get off, today it was at 40%!!!!! i didnt even touch it the whole day. smh

batt life does kinda suck and my phone heats up real bad.. even worse when i use skyfire.

I haven't flashed to the new ROM yet, however, I noticed incredibly good battery life with Velvito's ROM...Better than on a stock ROM.

After hearing the above complaints, I'm hesitant to try the new stock ROM.

Interestingly, I've had the opposite experience. Using the original stock rom, my phone got fairly warm on occasion and battery life was fair at best, usually poor. Since applying the latest "stock" rom, it hasn't gotten warm once and the battery life is much better. Go figure. I can't think of anything in particular I might have done that I hadn't done 100 times before.

the ROM seems stable.. not fast but not slow .. GPS still doesn't seem to work

With the leaked rom, my battery only last about 20hr for just standby
With new official rom, my battery drop only 5% after 10hr standby.
So it's day and night.

i upgraded the radio then went back to an old custom rom, and switched out my extended battery for the stock battery b/c i'm gettin the same amount of hours with the stock as i'm used to gettin with the extended battery. so far it's been 13 hours, 35% left with 1 hr 20 min talk time, about 20 push emails, 5-10 texts, and tomtom for 25 min on the stock battery-i'm even running spb mobile shell. knock on wood, i'm lovin it...
