Re: verizon mms

Yes, I use this as a reference point after I flash a ROM - any ROM,...

I can often get the text messages working with a few edits, but it takes these to get the pictures to transfer with vzw.

I went to registry and added a DWORD key EnableServerEdit, set its value to 1.

Then went into Messaging->MMS Options and went to Servers tabs, and set the server with those options posted earlier.

Re: verizon mms

Has anybody else gotten VzW MMS up and running on the new "official" WM6.1 Sprint Rom?

Soccer--I've dupped your settings exactly and my picmessages try to send out and receive in, but after 30-60 seconds they bomb out with an error message.

I'm guessing there is some kind of conflict with the sprint crap in the ROM (no, i did not let customizations run).

Re: verizon mms

I did get messaging on VzW to work,.. but it wasn't directly solvable - I had to flash it twice. There's another thread on here about everybody having problems with messaging period after flashing the Sprint ROM. Some suggest that just doing a HARD RESET after you flash will clear it up,...

I had run a day without noticing that it wasn't working right, so I backed up with dotFred's util and then flashed and restored. Big mistake because it sent all kinds of messages that were queued in my Outbox while messaging wasn't working out there.

Hope that helps,... go through and try a hard reset or flash it again.

Re: verizon mms

I tried a hard reset and reflashed the new 'official' sprint ROM again. In both cases... same result: MMS messages compose and start to send but fail after 60 seconds.

So...... I decided to flash OMJ's "clean ROM" which has none of the carrier customizatin/Sprint crap in it. That did the trick... Installed arcsoft, set the settings, and I was immediately up and running.
