Data Not Working. M.IP Defult NAI Not keeping its change

I switch carriers from Telus to Bell Mobility. My phone and text works but I cannot authenticate on the bell network in order to use the internet.

I matched all the EPST settings, but for some reason the M.IP Default Profile will not accept a change in the NAI setting. Regardless how I do it(via EPST or QXDM). It will always revert to @mo.1x.telus.com

What has been done:
1. unlocked
2. New sprint Rom upgrading radio
3. ESN Changed
4. EPST Settings matched with a Bell touch when I changed the MSID to my own
5. Custom Cooked rom
6. Followed: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...102#post297102 to a Tee.

Still no authentication on the Bell data network

Re: Data Not Working. M.IP Defult NAI Not keeping its change

I have this similar issue. I can make/Receive calls & Text, but, i receive the following error:

"Cannot Connect for an Unknown Reason...Change Your settings, or factory Reset...blah blah"

When I attempt to flash using the Stock Bell ROM, I receive an error "Invalid Command" on the Host PC, and says its not designed for my Device in the small print.

Any suggestions? Im nearly done....

You will need to downgrade your bootloader in order to put the stock bell rom back in because of the radio difference.

I tired this, and it didn't help at all. It actually made everything worse.
After I put the bell rom back on it did somesort of reset that reinstated all the Telus original settings (ESN MIP etc)

It seems that something keeps reverting the settings back every soft reset after it is changed.

Anyone know how to change these settings permantently?

What is mo.1x.telus.com?

To fix the problem you have to edit the nvm files directly, don't use qpst

Looking for bricked/stuck in bootloader Treo CDMA 700p/700w/700wx/755p/Centro for research, to create solutions for ie: using WM6 on 700p or vice versa, un/debricking.
