Ring tones and text tones

I have been doing some searching but have yet to find excactly how to put these on my phone and do I have to purchase anything extra

What I do is just use ActiveSync file explorer and drop .mp3 files right into the /mydevice/My Documents/My Ringtones directory and they show up on the device.

I also have used free online programs to convert stuff on my desktop and send to my phone like www.myxer.com

In either case it doesn't cost anything extra. Hope this helps.

thank you I think that may help but not sure still on text alerts

Text alerts go right into your My Device - Windows folder. I think they can be WAV or MP3. Wavs for sure thats what I use but I have heard MP3s work too.
