Re: HTC Touch Bell and GPS w/WM 6.1
Also, I installed GPSToday, and with my cooked firmware based upon the GPS 3.02, I got a lock in less than 15 seconds. I also tried a run with my car, and the speed reporting is very accurate, and the updating is acurate too. Very pleased with new firmware and radio. Much faster, and tottaly worth to upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.1.
Any news on Windows Mobile 7? |

Re: HTC Touch Bell and GPS w/WM 6.1
If all you want is WM 6.1, just download the legitimate HTC Touch ROM update for Bell from HTC (http://www.htc.com/us/supportdownloa...act=sd&cat=all)
GPS also works some of the time with that. I've found it more reliable if you set a specific COM Port for GPS in Google Maps Settings and the same program access port in Windows Settings>System>External GPS |
