Also, flashed to OMJ's since I had to work and needed the contacts to be functional so I can't see the registry unless I can look into the ROM?? Thanks for your help on this!

Put this in your USER_OEM folder. This is a control panel applet to set your softkeys to what ya want.

OEM_FdcSoft_Softkey_1_4.rar

The kitchen already has this, but I like this newer version...

The problem isn't the button mapping, it's got to be in the contacts.exe file. I can't even get it to open by clickg on it in File Explorer.

Take PPCContacts Manager out of your selections. Should fix it.

It takes over the shell settings for your contact manager and for some reason doesn't want to run, so going back to stock contact manager is the answer.

I had the same issue. Weird i never had a problem with PPCContacts Manager before... Flashing now without it to see if it fixes...
