Re: Sprint "leaked" Rom survey
i haven't installed a gps/revA rom.. i've waited all the time so i'll wait another month or so to see if the official one comes out.
also, no leaked rom would ever be better than an official one. always bugs, etc.. so im pretty sure almost everyone would rather have an official rom,. therefor would upgrade as soon it's released. i'm pretty sure everyone would always prefer the latest and greatest version available rather than a leak. Re: Sprint "leaked" Rom survey
I tried it. The Sprintv version did not list the channels after downloading and installation. I removed it, and reinstalled a version that had worked with the previous rom. It locked the phone up. I also had to "trick" the email setup for Gmail, to set it up for IMAP. The threaded sms is nice, but still no option for MMS. Other than that, it seemed okay. I would wait for the official with working Sprintv, and threaded MMS.

Re: Sprint "leaked" Rom survey
I'm running the leaked Sprint ROM right now and am happy with it, but I will definitely re-flash to the official ROM when it comes out.

Re: Sprint "leaked" Rom survey
I'll flash the release. The leaked rom GPS is still slow to lock and I don't like the priming for some apps although that may not be the fault of the rom.
I tried a motorola 9QC and it's GPS locked instantly but the motorola doesn't compare to the touch. |

I'm thinking of switching to this ROM. Are you having the BT problem with this leaked ROM? The one where hanging up would automatically switch the ringer profile? I'm on an OMJ ROM now and still have that problem. It seems to also happen when using GPS. Aryeh |

Re: Sprint "leaked" Rom survey
Im running the leaked sprint rom, and as it is right now, it's practically perfect for me.
I got the gps working, with google maps, and also tomtom. So I just start google maps, let it get a lock, then start tom tom and I got navigation, turn by turn that talks to me, and all for way less than what an official stick to your windshield tomtom or garmin would cost. I also have the REVA, in nyc it seems it is well active, because you definetly notice the speed difference. I don't have much complaints about the W 6.1 as it seems to run pretty smooth. Sprint tv is what it is... ( I don't use it much) . Music store works. It's all great, well worth the update. phone synchs perfect to.
