Re: Add my own CABs to the Kitchen?
Thanks for the quick reply! Here's the steps I'm doing.
* Open up the Ervius application. * Click "Open CAB file" and find it * On the next window that pops up, I click the "extract cab files with original names in a folder". The default is to extract into C:\[package_name], but since i'm running Vista, that crashes the program with an access violation. So, I created a C:\packages\ and extracted into there. * After it extracts, I click "exit" and I get a popup window that says, "U've cancelled creating pacakge from cab analyzer... exit!" |

Re: Add my own CABs to the Kitchen?
One thing that tripped me up at first, I had rar'ed the folder of the OEM similar to the way the PPCGeeks OEM package is. It seems that the folder should not be compressed, just placed directly in the USER_OEM folder. Maybe a certain type of compression would work, but I've had success leaving the folder as is. Maybe some else can clarify wether or not you can, or even should, compress your custom OEMs.

Re: Add my own CABs to the Kitchen?
Thanks. If we want to submit some OEMs to include in the kitchen (with approval of course), should we just PM one of you guys here? Is there an email address for ppckitchen.org (couldn't find one)?
