CALLING NOCHEM and OTHER CHEFS

If you look in the buildOS window while a ROM is building, it shows the location of the temp directory it uses. For me it was D:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\hIq Inc\PPC-BuildOS\

Once BuildOS is done building the ROM and the flasher utility pops up, you can just exit it without flashing. The temp directory mentioned above has the RUU_signed.nbh in it for your flashing/modifying/posting needs.

So made my first rom..... i remove media player, file explorer, etc.... i am running at almost 90megs when i first boot.. but the problem i have is when i click on the camera button... it give me an error. i swear the camera should set up by default but i guess not. Do anyone know where i can find a cab for it. i search through windows but there no camera.exe... Anyways thanks for everyone help... Im a noob CHEF NOW!

I imagine that some people don't use the camera and media capabilities of the phone, which makes PPCKitchen a draw for them as they don't have to have all of that stuff on their phone.

Edit: Anyone know where i can find a list of item i can delete on the sys folder which wont damage the system? i delete a few folders which gave me some problems so, i decided if i can find a list before i start cooking another rom. Thanks

You probably want to stay away from the SYS folder.

Jd, sure is... but im trying to delete all the folder i do not use. i want to delete that is useless in the sys folder.

Have you notice any memory leak with your rom? I notice while i am using your rom program memory is acts up. Say, i start wit 70 megs and when i launch 5 programs it lessen to 55 but the problem is when i close all the programs it remains at 55. I thought it is strange.


Anyway... Do you know any folder in the sys that i can delete without damage the system. Thanks

oh yeah the memory thing that is one of your programs or your set up if you are using a gps program more than likely it could be the culprit
