Graphic driver update from HTC soon????

Stumble upon some thread over Kaiser forum in XDA that rumor has it that HTC will be releasing updated graphic drivers within this month, and possibly next week. So went online and google to find this thread (http://www.wmexperts.com/articles/ru...proved_gr.html). Bad thing is it's reported that only for unbranded Kaiser Tytn II. But i'm pretty sure that when it's released, our resident ROM gurus will make it available for other device.

ill put a little twist on that too. notice how its only for the NON-carrier branded Tytn II? I think this has a lot to do carriers and money. HTC will update their own devices direct from them (unbranded) but if the carriers wont pay extra, the carrier branded HTC devices wont see it. that sounds like a plausible logical explanation as to why only that one mentioned.

You should find out how much it costs those a-holes to make these phones...and by that I mean design phase and manufacture phase.

1. HTC never promised graphic accelerated drivers.
2. You knew exactly what you were getting when you purchased the Touch.
3. You'd never know any different if someone hadn't pointed it out.
4. Do you want their engineering force to be concentrating on old, soon to be outdated phones or new technology?
5. It was never "crippled". Why would anyone ever take a feature away? It's just a feature that was never there.

I only see one person wanting something for nothing...... and you're calling HTC greedy? hmmmmm

Be careful what you say-- we have some very loyal HTC investors/employees on here. Bash Sprint and they won't say a word in retaliation.

accelleration in action?

No, because none of the Touch models had it enabled. That will probably change when the Tilt drivers are released.
