I am having the same issue with the leaked sprint rom does this have the latest gps drivers.

it just seems that gps implimentation on these ROMs is flakey, even on the Mogul official. some people have good luck some dont and at different times and days. i think its all really random and just a weak gps receiver in there honeslty- best answer really weve acquired

I have good and bad news to report. I did a clean install of the latest Alltel release on my phone. right after that I loaded total commander and dotFred Task Manager (sorry I don't have the links, they are on my laptop, I'm on my desktop and in a hurry. I'll try to post them later if someone doesn't beat me to it). I installed the kickstart exe and cab and compared the files in the cab to the files in my windows directory, different dates and file sizes! Using total commander, I was able to copy the files over the existing files and determine the ones that wouldn't. After that I used the task manager to stop the gps service and rename the ones that I couldn't copy over and then copy them in. soft reset and no joy. I went to bed and watched Scrubs. The next morning I tried again and GOT A LOCK (GPS View)! Brought up google maps, zoomed in, I was looking at my study! (kidding). I closed google, checked my email and opened google again. IT DIDN'T WORK. So, That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Wish I had more, but I'm sure the guru's here can use that info to help us laymen.

SprintTouch08 I have had no issues with the titan gps it locks every time I use the gps. I use it with tomtom and sprint nav no problems at all so I would say the users having issues with gps on titan is a result of something else not a weak gps reciever. The touch does not lock ever with the leaked sprint rom installed.

Now for some reason I can't explain, I can't get the gps to NOT work. We loaded the new Sprint ROM on a friends phone and his gps is working too. What's weird, it works better. More locks, less error in HDOP. I wonder if the sprint rom would work on an Alltel phone....
