S2U2 lets me access cube when locked. Why?

cube doesnt work when S2U2 is activated for me. hmm?

I want to have the ability to access the cube when using s2u2. The point is to lock buttons and screen it is extremely unlikely to accedently access the cube in fact in my opion impossable but I won't go there. I want it to stay just like it is. I can still have the deviced locked and have quick access to dial a contact.

Thanks MM. Don't know why I didn't think of it before. TouchFlo doesn't work in the camera and album because there are two exclusion keys set for it. Still having some trouble though. I created a key for "S2U2" and even "s2u2" with new strings (even copied the ones from the camera) with values os "S2U2", "s2u2" and "s2u2.exe" TouchFlo still comes up. In fact, now that I look at it, even the S2U2 key i'm creating is getting deleted. very annoying

can you do a reg dump or something?

If you're running the new ROMs based on the Alltel update, you need to completely close out of your registry editor to make sure the entries are saved. Otherwise they disappear on soft reset. So, make the changes, then close the registry editor, open the registry editor to make sure the changes have been saved, then close the editor and soft reset.

That's what I did and it works fine.

any possibility of something making the registry edits into a cab file?
Also are the registry edits the same if you are using Slide 2 Unlock as opposed to AC S2U2?

should be the same. the exclusion is build into the os, just add a link for whatever program you want and it will do it. slide 2 unlock 2 is named s2u2 so that's what you put in the key. if your AC s2u2 is the same, then no difference.

Sure. Why not? Here's a CAB that will add the exclusion for you.
