S2U2 lets me access cube when locked. Why?
 

Ok I have s2u2 installed and when it is "locked" I can still access the cube. I have tired uninstalling it and reinstalling it and it's still doing it. Anyone have any ideas how to get it working properly? Today was the first day that the phone didn't wake up after it went to sleep. This is on Sprint and I'm running OMJ non gps/rev A rom. Thanks

i can access the cube when s2u2 is active also. there seems to be some type priority issue. not a big deal for me tho

the cube takes priority over ALL WM & 3rd party apps. I can be accessed @ any point except when u are using the WM Lock method (press * and enter screen)
so theres no way to not be able to access the cube...

this is a very old problem mentioned by lots of folks (myself included) in several posts. It can't be corrected, sorry. Think of s2u2 more as a way to avoid most hapless keypad touches. IT's still nice and useful but not godly

When i had the Cube installed on my mogul i had to add S2U2 to the exemptions list. Maybe there is an exemptions list that you can add the prgram. But ultimately i was able to use S2U2 without bringing up the cube.

Yeah, I believe its a registry setting likely in hklm/software/oem/tflosettings
either there or hklm/software/htc/tflo somethingorother.

Sorry I can't be of more help, but I don't currently have a cube installed :/

When I first got my Touch i thought this was a problem too, but now that I have had the phone for a few weeks i actually like that I can access the cube even when S2U2 is on.

Same way here, I like being able to access the cube while s2u2 is on. It never activates in my pocket and I can make a call faster than unlocking the device with s2u2.

If you're comfortable with Registry editing you can disable the Cube from Opening with S2U2 open.

Go to HKLM>Software>HTC>Biotouch>Disable4SpecificApp

Create a New Key called "S2U2" then create a String called "ClassName" with a value of "S2U2".

Soft reset, and the Cube should no longer open when S2U2 is on.

BTW, I made a CAB with the changes. It's on page 2.
