Re: Bluetooth problem after Alltel HTC Touch upgrade
FIX
Press start click the phone icon dial ##778 and hit send click edit and enter 000000 as the unlock code click view info-click Home SID/Home NID click on any listing that has a 0 in the left column. It should look like this (0/65535) type the local SID number into the spot that had a 0 in it click ok, then click the x in the top right of the screen. Click 'yes' on the next popup then click 'ok' to reset the device. The device will reset and the roaming indicator should be gone. This will fix the issue by eliminating the roaming indicator and as you can see there are more than a few slots for Home SID's. Thanks |

Re: Bluetooth problem after Alltel HTC Touch upgrade
Fixed for spelling and other errors.
Ok, the above quote is WRONG. The software is buggy, but Bluetooth issues were fixed, and the beeping you're hearing is supposed to happen, as an alert that you're roaming (headset was used, because the likelyhood of you staring at you're phone when you're hooked up is minimal, and is logical). The bugs in the software are related to MMS problems, on some devices, the updated ROM "broke" MMS completely, not allowing MMS to function at all. Here's the mostly official word: Windows Mobile 6.1 is scheduled for release this month. Also, the software was not pulled, just the normal link, if you bookmarked the link, it's still there, available for download. Now, I say "mostly official", because Alltel is having trouble deciding to enable GPS fuctions on it "out of the box". The software is done. MMS fuctions are working fine, Bluetooth works great, and it seems more stable than before.
