hard reset....

a few questions....

a hard reset wipes everything off your phone right? anything stay on it?
how do you do it, a search brings up a ton of hard reset statements but hard to find instructions
a hard reset, will that help my device to work better at all?

a hatd reset could help your phone work a little better depending on if you have apps/reg edits messing stuff up. It will put your phone back to either the way it came new or the way it was after your last rom flash before installing anything, it will wipe your phone clean of anything u put in it as for how to do it sorry i dont own a touch but on my mogul its both softkeys and reset buttons... oh wait u dont have softkeys!

to do a hard reset go to start then settings then go to the programs tab. in there you will see a list of icons with one being "clear storage". tap that one and follow the instrustions and you are done

anyone wanna chime in and tell me how to do it since doing a search for hard reset returns 11 pages of any thread that says hard reset in it

there is no programs tab in settings from the start menu

Another way to do a hard reset is to hold the send(green) + cancel(red) keys + poke your stylus into the hole to the right of the mini usb plug for about 2 seconds
