your correct. you probably have a good quality panel. But most Tn panel do have a limited viewing angle.

HAHAH! Ya.. i think he has not too. I did lcd flat monitor shopping very recent and did my research. What I learned was that about almost all TN panel have bad viewing angles at some point. S-IPS are very good.

BTW... please someone make a video of your Touch that has a good viewing angle like thew Mogul. And post it here.

I have the crappy screen too. Going to check out my local sprint store to compare to other Touch screens.

Ya, me too. I am heading to the mall and check out their demos. And If I find a store with a good Touch... bet you money I will have it replaced.

The screen on the Touch is designed to use less POWER than then Mogul type screens, this is needed to get anywhere near useable battery life from the Touch with the reduced battery size.

ive tried to say the same thing before but the tinfoil hats always come out about it being some conspiracy with HTC and Sprint. It just a screen that uses less power and thus sacrifices some viewing angle in the process. It was a simple cost/benefit decision. either make the phone thicker or sacrifice some screen quality.
