Huh? Well, I guess it is a bit squisshy. that dont bother me as much as the view angle. In landscape mode if you are watching a vid or picture its inpossible to enjoy it unless you tilt is a bit to the left i believe. Good idea. |

Re: Is you Touch screen terrible?
there is quite a few places to order, but IMO you would be wise to find out the origin of the better screen before you buy.. or else you might pay a buck fiddy for another bad screen.
also answer my last question im confused now. i can tell you my viewing angle is bad, but so is the one in that youtube video. you can see it completely polarize like 15° from the center. |

Well that video is not bad. It truly shows the polarization when its tilted. Specially you can notice it it you tilt it upwards or downwards, and it starts almost as soon as you begin to tilt it. If you have a good screen you don't see polarization until maybe 40 degrees or so. Put it this way.... if your touch looks like the Moguls screen when tilted (no polarization) then you have a good screen. jamesjay, if your touch does look like the one on that video then consider yourself one of the unlucky ones that got the terrible screen. |

Re: Is you Touch screen terrible?
This sucks...I'm the one that made the video btw.
We should be able to complain to Sprint or HTC; but first we need some cold hard evidence to prove our point. I've got the video down of the "bad" screen; can we please get a video of the "good" screen now? Thanks Edit: Honestly I don't think it's an issue of the actual LCD panel; I think it is caused by the hard plastic digitizer about the LCD; perhaps something to do with the way the plastic was extruded; in effect polarizing it. Just a thought; what do you guys think? Last edited by rdwing; 05-03-2008 at 11:37 PM. |
