So far I am on my 3rd Touch from Sprint. 1st phone has the best screen but has the terrible viewing angle. 2nd phone has a bad screen. I would see horizontal lines when switching screens. But it also had a yellower hue but brighter backlight. #rd and current phone looks like my 1st phone but with a slightly dimmer backlight. But they all have terrible viewing angle. I have seen 4 different Verizon touches and they all have excellent viewing angle. SO it makes me think they spend the extra pennies for a better quality screen like the Moguls. Damn.. I must hunt down a Verizon screen so can swap. Then and only then will I be satisfied. Also.. I just got off the phone with HTC technical and they said they manufacture different batches for all carries. And they agent said it most likely the software thats causing the bad viewing angle ( lol! Morons) So I said If i can purchase a Verizon screen from them and she said to call another number tomorrow and maybe they can give me a better answer. if i get this fixed.. I will make a video and tutorial on how to do this. Wish me luck cuz I am sick of having a weird screen on landscape mode wuith this good phone.

Re: verizon vs spring screens

Sorry for your bad luck so far, but I'm guessing it is "luck of the draw" because the screen images on my touch look identical to my mogul. Best of luck in getting the issue fixed.

wow, that's some terrible luck. I have seen screens for the Sprint Touch for sale on Ebay before. Should be a matter of time before you can buy one from a Verizon Touch.

verizon vs bruce spring screens? i think you might have made a tactical error in the title.

i am interested in any info proving there are different screens for sprint.

Ya, I meant Sprint not spring. :P

I have been to 3 different Sprint stores and checked out their Touches on Demo. And they all have the terrible viewing angle issue.

Thanks

It's part of SPB mobile Shell.

Maybe the screens are the same between Verizon and Sprint, an the only difference is the protective film. Verizon might be using a different film that does not inhibit the viewing angle.
