Re: Lost AS after a day with gpstest2.1
Lots of time it's PC issue with the Advance feature was checked. To uncheck it, go to System and look for USB To PC setting and uncheck the "Enable Advanced Network Functionality". This will force the Touch to connect to AS in Serial mode instead of a Network mode.
Try this and hope this helps. |

Re: Lost AS after a day with gpstest2.1
You probally already tried this.
I get this problem once in a while and I just have to restart my PC and then it connects with no problem. If you flashed a new rom you definatly need to re-install active sync and then restart your pc hope this helps. |

Re: Lost AS after a day with gpstest2.1
Thank you for your help. Actually my "Enable Advanced Network Functionality" was uncheck and when i checked it again i can get AS to start but then get the error saying "AS cannot connect to the device" pop up. Maybe i need to to uninstall/reinstall AS again? BTW, when "Enable Advanced Network Functionality" is unchecked, i cannot connect at all, i'm not sure why.

Re: Lost AS after a day with gpstest2.1
I had a similar problem, I ended up flashing the stock ROM and I was finally able to sync. Something got corrupted.

Re: Lost AS after a day with gpstest2.1
I also had the problem recently. I could still sometimes connect for a short period of time which enabled me to uninstall the usb device in Device Manager. The next time I reconnected the touch, the driver reinstalled itself and all has been working well since.
I would also check the usb connection to the touch as mine was not working well (it worked when I twisted the connector a bit...) Hope this helps |
