All you have to do is install Google Maps, run it after the install then click Menu -> Use GPS. Now you just have to wait.
After I had a lock on a few satellites (took about 5 minutes or so), I fired up Tom Tom, set it to Com 4 and I used Tom Tom to navigate me home

I did the update and gps worked the first time i tried it. now when i try, i cannot lock on to any satellites. i tried gpsview, quickgps, google, etc. just can't get it to work. i was driving down the freeway for 30 mins and it never locked on. my bluetooth gps never had problems picking up a signal so i'm not sure what's going on. any ideas?
