Re: Alltel 3.04.671.2 Issues/Observations
Here is an issue for yas... I have only been able to obtain Rev A speed one time. See my signature for the speeds that were measured by speed test. This was using the Alltel ROM after 3 tries of reverting back to stock ROM and then upgrading over and over again.
Now I have JD's 6.1 "Rev A enabled" ROM and I cannot get speeds faster than 200kbps... That's 1X speed at best and I always have a great, usually 2-3 bars, EVDO signal. Gps doesn't work for me either unless I use JD's gpstest2 ROM. But still none the less, I do not have Rev A with that ROM either.

My GPS works fine, but only if I load up the Holux GPS Viewer FIRST, and then whatever GPS software I want to use. I"m getting the exact same problem with the delay in connecting to sprint when the phone reboots, it takes about 5 minutes. REALLY annoying. Anyone have any clues on how to fix this? |

Re: Alltel 3.04.671.2 Issues/Observations
Well, unfortunately i had to revert back to old rom/radio as in my neighborhood my phone would only recieve phone calls like 1 out of every 5 tries...Intrestingly enough, the reason why i got a touch was because when i upgraded my mogul to 3.35 radio the same thing started...must be something with the network here in NYC.

Re: Alltel 3.04.671.2 Issues/Observations
Has anyone noticed typing issues?
For example, press "u" and three u's show up or even some times nothing will show. Its like my keyboard is messed up, but the keys feel the same. Before anyone says anything. I had zero problems with the keys on the old rom. Once the new rom was put in, it all the sudden started to mess up. What can I try? Can I redo the install or just go back to the old rom? |

Re: Alltel 3.04.671.2 Issues/Observations
I'm using the straight up alltel rom and I've had the keyboard go wacky on me twice. When typing, you can hold a button down to get a number or some punctuation, right? Well it would act like I was holding the button down everytime. Temporary solve was to hide the keyboard and bring it back up.

keyboard problems here too, I have to use the WinMo keyboard to input passwords because it doesn't recognize my multi tapping, instead it inputs every tap.

Re: Alltel 3.04.671.2 Issues/Observations

A soft reset has fixed the issue

Re: Alltel 3.04.671.2 Issues/Observations
The only problem i have is with IE freezing and slowing the entire phone until you kill it and clear memory with task manager. several soft resets no good. also freezes/slows down activesync to a crawl. any ideas?
