Someone please help a noob

That answered most of what I was wondering about and I think I'm much closer to getting the Touch to look and act the way I want. What I need to still figure out, and hopefully I haven't drank too much from the well, is:

1. I installed CorePlayer and the FlashVideoBundle, but for some reason, Youtube videos don't show video, just black screen.

2. I need a good thumb-friendly alarm program with snooze and MP3 function. I also need to be able to cancel an alarm if I woke up before it went off (thats my wife's request)

3. How can you set MP3's as ringtones?

4. Is there a mobile version of a multi-protocol chat client kinda like Trillian or Pidgin?

5. I need a better sms client, something that will give threaded conversations, but not remove them from the inbox. Any ideas?

6. I need to unlock the video recording duration for MP4 and leave it set for 3gp - this way - i can take 3gp videos for sending to other cell phones and mp4 for recording for myself

Any and all help is MUCH appreciated.

#3 - Place the MP3 in the folder \Windows\Rings

#4 - OZ Instant Messaging (comes on the Sprint Touch) allows chats in AOL, Yahoo, and a couple others, I believe.

Oh man oh man oh man - its that simple? I can't wait to get home and load it up with a bunch of ringtone mp3's.

As for OZ Instant Messaging, can you download that somewhere?

wmnoobie - you cannot use this as a windows mobile upgrade, all it does is UPDATE office mobile for newer file formats (office 2007). If you want wm 6.1 you have to flash your rom with a new hacked one or wait (possibly untill hell freezes over) for your carrier to offer it.

Thanks rabid - I currently have office 2007 so this will help me. correct? How do find out what is the most stable hacked rom? I primarily need to be able to use Office 2007 for work - but if I could safely make the phone better (hacked rom) I would be willing to try

wmnoobie - there are a ton of good stable ones, look at the sticky at the top of the touch forum. As for the update look at the icons for your office apps, if they have a solid colour folder with the app offset you don't need it.
