What if I find a "lost" phone
If I happen to lose my touch, call and make an insurance claim, pay the decuctible, get the new phone and then find the phone that I thought I lost.
Will they reactivate the ESN on the lost phone?

yes they will i did it 2 time i just call them in told them i lost my phone sprint sent me another one call the next day in got it turn back on my other line

i dont think so.. i just "lost" my mogul last week lol. and they said if i find it i have to send it in right away!

it really depends a friend at work misplaced her mogul calle dinsurance got a new one and found the lost one and kept it and sodl the one she got forinsurance no problems

no you cant get it activated again. The esn is locked (at least with sprint) The phone becomes the property of Asurion insurance co. If it becomes known to Asurion that you still have the phone and dont return it, they will bill your acct. $200 for lost equipment.I work for Sprint Customer care and have handled that call several times. Dont bother trying, you will lose in the end.

to add to mike's statement. when handling it through asurion, they even made me get the lost statement officially notorized that it was gone for good when i told them it fell into a lake
 . it IS insurance fraud-keep that in mind. The way i see it, if you're gonna commit insurance fraud, "go big or go home" why do it for $300?
