I've decided to flash. Just a few questions first!

Hi there guys. I've decided to flash, but i have a few q's first.

First of all, i'm a total n00b when it comes to flashing phones, and before i even START, i just want to make sure i even have the right phone. Mine SEEMS to be the Vogue, but i've seen that the elf looks very similar.






2) I need to unlock first, right? Apparently imcokemann's unlocker is good, but i can't find it. Any links?

3) Can i back up my stock ROM before i flash?

4) I plan on Using [B] "OMJ's WM6.1 Custom Touch ROM with UC! v7". Anything i should be careful of?
