I'm having a slightly different issue. When my SMS come in, the phone vibrates in addition to ringing. I did find where my sounds/notifications were set to vibrate for text messages so I unchecked that option, but it's still vibrating.
Any ideas? I'm sure it's something simple. TIA.

hhhmmm only thing I can think of off the top of my head is to ensure the option change took.

I have had the same issue since day one on 2 different touch's. If I use an mp3 as my text ringer, it will work for (as stated), about 20 messages. After that the phone will light up but not vibrate or play the ringer. I also have to soft reset. I tried a few things but it always happened so I went back to the oem "Alert 1"
