Been awhile since I've run Android on my Bell Mobility Vogue, I got the latest dzo 1.1 running but can't for the life of me get internet access working. Messed around with the default.txt etc and googled for the last hour. Last time I ran Android, I just had to make sure I connected to the internet before launching haret, but now that doesn't seem to work.

UPDATE: Nevermind, didn't realize you needed to run Togga. Arrggg...

Got internet to work but not market place on 1.5

I got version 1.5, but Togga keeps on erroring out... anybody having this issue?

If you are using 1.5 you need to use "modem" to connect to the internet.

If you use vilord's 1.5 found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=523692 the modem connects automatically for you.

So what is the use of Togga now? Regardless... this version 1.5 of Android (or "the little dude" as my wife calls it), rocks!

To clarify, everyone should know we now have the following:

- 1.1 from DZO
- 1.5 from DZO
- 1.5 ION from TheDude
- 1.5 from ViLord

USB works!!!
Voicemail works!!!
Call Waiting works!!!
GPS now works!!!!! Granted it's still in beta form, nonetheless it's working.

Just plain amazing how far this project has come.

wow gps works now??? amazing... too bad i dont have a vogue anymore...

question. 1.1 is still the most stable one rite?? or is 1.5 just as good now for everyday use?

Well let me rephrase. I would say 1.1 is the "snappiest" but both 1.1 and 1.5 are in my opinion equally as stable. The 1.5 builds bog down some times but it really doesn't bother me. The portrait keyboard alone is worth the upgrade.

As for GPS, it is indeed working. I just tried it out. It takes a few tries to start it up (think of it like an old car trying to start on the cold morning. It takes some time but once it's running it works great), but it works great after that. In the next day or two i'de like to drive around with it enabled to see if it will stay locked on.
