So let me get this straight...basically this is just a no-install, no-flashing emulator that runs Linux which then runs Android? So theres no risk in messing up your phone with it?

i posted this over at xda, but ill post here in case someone can help

im trying to run this on my vogue with no luck. ive got both a sprint touch with a custom rom and a bone stock vzw 6900. i downloaded the four files from the link in the first post and drop them onto my device (no .txt for initrd-android and zImage.) i can run haret and get the penguin and it runs through a bunch of text, but eventually hangs. theres a few mentions of error 19, but im not exactly sure what is wrong. heres my log, any help?

cant claim to know much of what im doing here with this, but thought it couldnt hurt to throw in my 2 cents..
have you tried just downloading all the files exactly as they are and running haret? i never changed any file extensions or anything and it worked great for me. i am running a sprint vogue but..still, same concept/principle/whatever. I did this back before he had the data or touchscreen working but...should still be the same.

yep no problem you bet

something has changed since he got the data working. all the files untouched worked for me before and after touchscreen was working, but now i can't get it to work at all.

yep no problem you bet

do your initrd-android and zImage have extensions? the first time i d/led and ran them i just clicked on the file, and when it saved them it saved w/o extensions. someone in the thread said to right click, save as so i did that and they actually had .htm extensions, not .txt. ill try running the .htm and see what happens, but naiserie might be correct that theres a bigger issue with the touchscreen files

he uploaded a new zimage and it boots for me now. no network, but i havent tried to change to my vision username/pass either

good to hear the new one works for you. on what conditions (for others)? what extensions if any etc..?

the new zimage file makes it work again, data and all.
