Evening all,

I have a Vogue that I would like to tinker with, so rather than try to read 118 pages of posts is the first post still the most current, or could someone point me in the right direction. I would like to run 1.5 or 1.6 on this device if at all possible.

jsut a quick question,

how does andriod perform on this? is it smooth enough to say its better than the Sense UI on a Touch Pro 2? as smooth as an iPhone? good as the Hero?

wanting to try andriod without changing my sprint plan.
The day andriod is available to all sprint plans would be a dream come true.

in my opinion it performs much better than windows mobile

There are many. You can either dual boot from the SD card or wipe out Windows altogether and use the NAND. More info can be found on XDA for the different builds and how to's.

after mucking about for half a day I've come to the conclusion that putting a working version of android on a vogue is a waste of time - this forum is bloated and has too many dead links. Perhaps a fresh start with up to date links and bomb proof instructions might be an idea (I'd also do a seperate thread for each android build to cut down on the clutter)

I feel you, I have a Vogue sitting in front of me waiting for me to put an Android ROM (not SD version) and I just hit too many walls when I started searching, the difference between you and me is that you went farther (1/2 a day, wow) I gave up after 2 hours. If someone does know how to get a ROM working on Vogue please open a new thread, post instructions, come back here and post link to new thread. PLEASE.
