I just delete all the previous files then download the new version at this site here
http://it029000.massey.ac.nz/vogue/
(it should just say latest version) and then just extract them to the root of your sd card.:headbang:

How to install and run Android on the Vogue (before you do any of this, BE SURE TO BE UPDATED TO THE LATEST RADIO!! at least 3.42.30):

4. Unzip package to a folder on your card named Android.
5. Copy and paste both the files data and system to the root of your card.
6. Create a folder named Android in the root of your device.
7. Copy and paste all other files from the folder named Android on your card to the folder named Android on your device.

These directions are very hard to understand, why would you need to have the data and system file twice on your memory card, and need a copy of all the rest of the files on your memory card?

Excuse me. I've never received that sort of feedback on it before. I'll try and clarify more.

Its cool, its my fault for thinking too much about what each step did. i got it all sorted. I skipped step 4. and just put the data.gz and system.img in the root of my sd card, then put the rest of the files in the root of my device in an Android labled folder. Took a few minutes to boot, and i noticed it reported some errors on the linux screen.

Ive been using android for the last 40 min. Martin and everyone else who worked on this did an amazing job. Will try to donate next paycheck if im not in the red again. Everything seems to be working now, except gps. I played an mp3 and couldnt figure out how to turn the volume down it sounded like it was going to blow my poor little speaker. Made a phone call, sent some text messages, surfed the web, used google maps (all no need to establish a connection before booting now), played snakes... all working great. Takes a few minutes to get use to red button being the power and volume rocker up is back. Even the videos played, they were in black and white and skipped but they still played sound included.

Is there a way to sync contacts without a third party via usb or sdcard?

Right on. First post updated slightly.

I don't think there is anyway to sync contacts right now, altho I haven't been using android on the vogue for a while. But from what I have read w/ all the google services and everything working now..wouldn't that work?

the only way i know of how to syn contacts is funambol... google it, they have an android apk out there and a winMo cab so it will send your contacts to their website, then you can run it in android to get them back :)

You might have to backup your data img. reinstall everything, then put the data back.

Got it working now, it only works if I put the other files in the My Device folder. It won't work if I put them in a folder on my SD card.

I can't get the app store to actually download an application. It says to watch for a notification, but nothing ever happens (I have data enabled via Togga). Any ideas?
