I tried downloading the myspace app and other apps but whenever it tries to take me to the url it says some error code I cant remember what but I wonder if its because we are using vogues and those are developed for the G1 instead of the Android OS overall or if it just refuses me! Is anyone else getting this when they try?

I tried installed anki -- http://ichi2.net/anki/wiki/AndroidAnki
and basically nothing happens when I hit "anki.apk"

Nothing in 'downloads' either. For giggles I selected the one for windows mobile and that at least told me it was an unsupported format and showed as failed in my downloads window.

Any ideas?

The first post tells you how to install your own .apk programs. Not all programs work, but I would say about 75% of the ones that I have tried seem to work ok. Some programs will only partially work on the vogue, or not at all.

Well I don't think there is an app and I know that the browser does not support flash so I highly doubt it. Also I tried to download flash for linux on it before, didnt work =(

yeah i got to play around with it a lil bit, seems like its really good for showing off to your buddies, i'm still hoping that they make it fully functional with little to no bugs soon. keyboard on it is really garbage, i still havent tested to see if videos in general play on it yet

I love the Landscape keyboard!!! lol. But ya I showed it off to some of my nerd buddies and they all went "so android's garbage." I was like youre kidding me right? Lol theyre lame.

haha... lemme guess.. they must be iPhone fanboys? Android will be the best operating system for mobile phones in 1 year... unless HTC decided to go with NVIDIA's processors, who knows what will come of operating systems then

Eh they aren't total fanboys, the one friend actually is into WM. But theyre just ignorant and I had an early build so they kept saying "it doesnt even work right" they didn't get that it was ported over from a different phone and how remarkable of a feat that is. I think this is one of the best things to happen to the vogue, it provides excitement and also some good functionallity.

I find that interesting because every WM user i've shown Android on my Vogue to, almost all of them sh¡t their pants just seeing how much faster the GUI is alone. Sure it can't compete with WM yet, but let's keep in mind that Android is probably a little over a year old, where as WM has been around since man invented the wheel, and they STILL can't get it right.

Eventhough Android kills my SD cards, I like it so much I just keep buying new ones! Hell, they're only 7.99 at the shack...
