Since I installed Service Pack 1 I have not been able to sync my Touch. Anyone have the same issue?

Re: vista service pack killed WMDC, can no longer sync

i installed Vista SP1 yesterday and had a similar problem, so I enabled the "USB-to-PC" selection and i was able to connect/sync again. on my Touch with WM 6.1, it's located on the Connections Tab. i can't recall where it's located with the stock version of WM 6.0.

Re: vista service pack killed WMDC, can no longer sync

Thanks for the reply Cortez, tried that but still no luck. I have removed and re-installed WMDC, I've tried to go back to the version included with the phone documentation, removed the driver from the Device Manager and still nothing. Its not even recognizing that im pluging in the phone.

Same here not syncing... I used outlook to load my contacts and phone book, but they are not moving over.

Well, I finally did a hard reset and reloaded everything and it works fine now. Not what I wanted to do but it was the only thing that worked.

Re: vista service pack killed WMDC, can no longer sync

Yeah, I had similar problems as well. I couldn't get ghetto's roms to sync at all in vista, but I could get JD's roms to work ok. Maybe it was just the hard reset that did it?

I was able to get SP1 downloaded directly from my Windows Update on Vista. I noticed that I would have to soft reset my phone to get it to sync with Vista.
