I assume that you guys know about unlocking your SPL with cokeman SPL 0.40 before flashing?

As I stated in the thread use at your own risk, and if you are not sure don't flash.
I never tried it but I hate seeing so many people ending up with uber-expensive paperweights. Until it is developed fully and working 100% for everyone, it just needed to be removed. Saying "Use at OWN risk" is a great way to remove liability from yourself but not a good way to prevent damage to other's devices.

No hard feelings man. I'm just looking out for everyone's interests here.

I would have tried it, except it inherently gives no GPS or RevA, so I just think Ill be patient. Thanks for your efforts though vboyz

Not just me using the "USE AT YOUR OWN RISK" phrase buddy, everyone else is using it.

This is a free community and just trying to contribute, and we are all grown adults and we can make our own decision and willing to face consequence of your decision. If you can't do that and messed up your phone and blame it on me. I don't think it's a fair deal. Why? First I already warn them in the first thread, that sometimes you just got to say NO so you won't brick your phone. Second, I told them that use at their own risk so that a big warning already that they should take into account.

Now if everyone who flashed after reading my post, and bricked their phone, it's not my fault to blame. I feel sorry for them that they brick their phone, but like I said you just have to man up and face your own consequence.

When I bricked my phone while back, I never blame the one who posted the ROM, I just blamed myself for my curiosity. When you are in the game of flashing, you know what you are getting into and its potential.

Having said all that, I think everyone here should be able to look out for themselves.

Amen!!

We all know the dangers of flashing anything...there is always the possibility of bricking your phone. Thank goodness for insurance

Re: VOGUE 3.35.04 radio ported from Titan

As per my Knowledge The Old Bootloader before 3.35 is not compatible with 3.35 Radio

in Titan also Old Bootloader dont work with 3.35 Radio / OS

everybody should wait for New ROM from Companies base which have Equivalent or Higher han 3.35 Radio.

In an idealistic sense, yes - people "should be able". But, when you look at the number of low post-count noobs, that's NOT a realistic assumption. There are people who see a post here and assume that there is a reasonably strong chance that what they see will work.

For those of us who are more experienced and literate, a radio from another phone, which offers NO benefit, while presenting SIGNIFICANT risk screams "Don't even download, much less flash!". I, for one, was not for one nano-second even the least bit tempted to try it.

But others didn't really understand the risk.

IMHO, your post should have been prefaced with huge, bold, flashing, red letters to discourage noobs who were tempted to try it.

Re: VOGUE 3.35.04 radio ported from Titan

Moe, not sure which Bell rom you mean as stock but the one on the UTC starcomm website had a radio update included over what came stock on my Bell touch so if you're lucky it might do the trick.
http://www.utstar.com/pcd/phone_down...ell%20Mobility
I'm assuming you have a Bell touch. This updated locked my phone so I had to run the unlocker again before I could flash it to radio update 2.13.00 which I got from the folks over at xda developers. Haven't had that radio too long but it seems to have improved an issue I was having where the phone locked up if I recieved a text message while I was using the data connection.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=358997

I guess its a shot in the dark but I figured I'd mention it.

The point here is that not about the warning, it's about how some users are doing the blame game on me. To me I think some are blaming me for posting this and they bricked their phone. I think it's not fair to blame anybody on here because as I stated in earlier replies, this is a free community and you should know what you are up to regardless you are noob or not noob. We are all smart individuals IMHO!!

Re: VOGUE 3.35.04 radio ported from Titan

Unfortunately, not everybody here is "smart" (i.e. experienced)!

However, I will generally agree that anyone who comes to forums like this one is taking a risk; and it's their responsibilty. But, not everyone understands the inherent risks.
