All we are asking for is a little more info ..does it in fact have gps and reva? nemanracing is in a position to answer this. Hes had the phone 36 hours or so.

There is a light on the front of the phone to show GPS status. But seeing is believing, and I would love confirmation.

I would also love to see some photos or an unboxing video to feed my xv6900 habit. Thanks.

We all know the GPS chip is present and it is a GPSOne Chip(true GPS + AGPS) however it does not seem to be activated(Just like the 6800 when it shipped). I have tried Google Maps, Live Search and VisualGPSce no dice with any...

That's bad news... I guess i have to go buy an external receiver now.


...I wonder if there's anything else we can scoop out of the ROM to help out with getting the gps opened up.

Isn't that the same as the sprint touch? Looks like we'll have to wait until sprint "blesses" us with the ROM update to give us the functionality we should have already.....
