Re: need help tethering my Touch to my Mac

I don't need PDANet or USB Modem - those programs are only needed if you want to "bypass" the restriction carriers place on tethering. I have phone as modem on my plan already so I'm allowed to tether. I just need someone to help me figure out how to get it working via USB on my Mac.

Was this directed at me? If so, I'm not looking to tether via bluetooth. I'm looking to tether via USB using Phone as Modem under Internet Sharing. I can't figure out what I need to configure on my Mac to get it recognize my Touch as a tethering device. Every time I hit connect in Internet Sharing, all it does is disable the bluetooth on my Mac (not sure what to make of that). The bluetooth comes back when I reboot my computer but I don't even care about that. There must be something relatively simple that I'm missing but I can't seem to find any answers.

Meant to say isn't sorry

I actuayly AM tryig to tether on my mac via bluetooth, but with the PAM option isntead of having to connect manually via blietooth.
