Cant type on this thing!!!

There is an option in the settings somewhere to enable a spelling check. It corrects for every time I hit the wrong key and when I misspell words (often) it has solved all my issues.

Couldn't find it for a sec:

Settings > Word Completion > Check the Enable Auto Correct

This has solved all my issues with the stock keyboard.

I drive while texting as well but admit it is not as easy on a Touch as compared to a phone with a physical keyboard. The spell check I spoke of makes it easier because I am not looking down while texting to fix errors as most are fixed for me.

Ok so I re-aligned the screen using my thumbs and stylus....only used the stylus for the top right alignment the rest used thumbs....but now i have a sensetivity issue cause I have the screen protector that came with the device on...so when I get home I will reg edit for more sensitivity like I did before...hopefully this will be better..


SPBkeyboard looks really nice but I dunno if its worth 10 bucks though....when you flip your screen the PCM is almost as big (well half the screen) which makes it better but i still like the 20 keypad better...

on another note....anyone ever have freezing issues when flipping the screen and the keyboard is out....I flipped the screen while the PCM keyboard was showing and had my device just freeze...this has happened twice now...

+2 for touchpal - it simply rocks!
+1 for pcmkeyboard.. awesome, but I prefer touchpal for most situations.

Thanks to all for replies!!! I finally figured out something that workes really great...after adjusting the screen sensitivity in the registry...I decided to get this skin for the PCM keypad..

its awsome!!!! and the layout is way better than the orginal...I urge anyone with the PCM to try and use this skin

Has anyone noticed that, on the stock Touch 20-key, that if you type too fast, sometimes, even though you typed the right letters, it puts up a strange word? If you look at the buttons you pushed, they are all right, and you hit them in the right order. Now if you erase the word, and type the same exact letters, but slower, then it will work fine.

It's done this a lot for me. On both the stock Sprint 6.0 ROM, and the nueROM 6.1 build 100

I must be lucky I have fat fingers (I guess) and have no problems even with the stock qwerty board, I tried pcm and it gave me nothing but problems on my touch
