Ahh, it would be a lot to type. All I have is OMJ's WM6.1 ROM then Live Search, TCPMP, FlashBundle, Google Maps, TRE Reg Editor, Adobe FlashLite, Nargalzius iPhone Dialpad, and OZ Instant Messaging. I didn't do any reg hacks on this or when I had the issue either. I just reloaded and that's all I have installed and the hissing is gone for now. I really don't install anything else. I'll let you know when it comes back, probably in a few days lol. I had to hard reset before for this too.

I had this problem once. In checking the pop-up volume settings (using the slide mechanism on the left side of the phone) I noticed that the slider under the handset icon was set low and the PDA icon slider was high. I moved them both up to high, and that fixed the problem.
